AnimeFest 2007 Pictures

AnimeFest 2007 took place a while back. It was a lot of fun! The next one we will be attending is Oni-Con in Houston, TX. It takes place October 19th through the 21st. The pictures from AnimeFest have been up on the site for a while, but I figured I would add a link to them from the main page. Check them out here!
As with my other picture albums, if you see a picture of yourself that you don't want there, please email me and let me know, I will remove it.

New Defender Screenshots

Not much to say other then, here is another set of screenshots of Defender. I could probably use some more appropriate sprites soon. Stuff like a guy in a space suit and an original set of alien ships. Anyone out there want to help?

The second screenshot is my own personal 8000 sprite stress test. Seems to hold up pretty well. :)

Syntax2d C# - Defender Updates

My C# Defender clone is progressing nicely. I've added the humans that will get abducted and set up some basic collision detection. I will probably try to replace all the sprites with more appropriate ones before I actually release the game. For now, have a look at this screenshot of the game in its current state!

Syntax2d: Test 3 Released

Test 3 of Syntax2d has been released! It contains demos of several of the engine's new features. The primary feature being that you can now add your own custom fx files. Check it out now, on the downloads page!

Also, I am still working on Defender. I'll release it, "When its done," which hopefully won't be too far from now. I also have a SyntaxCritical_ Version 2.0 in the works which will hopefully make this website a lot more interactive and fun to visit.

Syntax2d C# - Defender

I've started work on a side scrolling space shoot em up game using Syntax2d for C#. Hopefully I will be done within the next week or so, and we will have a new release showcasing some of the engines newer capabilities.

Syntax2d is progressing quite well, Eric just informed me that he has increased the sprite "stress test" capabilities from 4,000 to 8,000. He should have Test 3 ready pretty soon, I'm not sure what it will entail, but it should be pretty cool when its ready.
